The only chosen people in the Old Testament were the Jews (for their belief in God NOT their "race").
Scripture is VERY clear on this fact. There are no other "chosen" people, except for BELIEVERS....all
believers. Believing that a "race" of people are "chosen" does not come from Christ...that comes from
the great deceiver only. Martin Luther did not think Blacks were chosen people. He was preaching
equality for ALL!!!! He wanted equality NOT separation nor did he want superiority.
I have spoken to many Brown Berets and have read the websites...the agenda is to takeover and not just
equality. With slogans like "Brown Pride" and "Brown Power" that is about superiority. It is just as racist
as anyone who makes such claims about any other skin color or race.
Since we are both sinners who have grace in Christ that makes us brother and sister in Christ. Thus
scripture warns the family in Christ NOT to be divided. Division is the work of Satan not Jesus. Here is a
reminder of this fact from scripture: ""All the believers were together and had everything in common."
(Acts 2:44). Jesus did NOT celebrate "differences" he taught UNITY among His people. Anyone teaching
the contrary of Jesus message of love (not hate and division) is lying. And you and I both know where the
lies originate from, Satan, because he wants all of God's children to suffer.
You and I have the common ground about the government. Since I want to communicate in love with my
family member in Christ, it is important that the truth is revealed and understood. The global elite want
"division" among ALL the people. The elite and the groups they donate to...George Soros, the
Bilderbergs, Rockefellers, etc....donate their billions to corporations and organizations. Then those
corporations and organizations donate to sub-groups...(example La Raza donates money to Brown Beret
groups...I have seen this on the NCLR site). The original BIG money comes from the elite though. Why?
Because they want us DIVIDED and fighting. If we are all fighting then we are not communicating and
uniting. Because if we UNITED, then they know we would all pool our resources together and then defend
ourselves from the elite and the global agenda which is a One World Order and global dominance.

weak which is why we are commanded to wear the full armor of God. (Ephesians 6). Our armor includes the weapon of knowing
scripture. I guarantee if you started praying fervently for the truth and reading your Bible EVERY day and attending church weekly you
would not be bound in the race deception.
As Christians "Our" people are NOT are same skin color or from our same country or same race they are ALL BELIEVERS!!! Our work
should be to UNITE ALL FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST to save and defend ALL BELIEVERS from the Great Deceiver. The reason I believe in
secured borders and LEGAL immigration is because I oppose the great deceiver's GLOBALIST plans!! Read Nehemiah. The whole book
is about God building walls around cities to protect HIS people...so that they would remain safe and sovereign and not in the glitches
of he who wants to destroy the world with global governance.
The Deceiver (and the elite) want a slave class...that is you, me, and everyone. They want race wars and riots so they can control us.
Illegal immigration is ABUSIVE and just advances slavery!!! And look at all the EVIL that surrounds it - the drug cartels and coyotes
abusing illegal aliens, the rape trees (do not use the same tales that it was white men who taught you to do this, Satan wants you
dwelling in the past instead of seeing the truth of TODAY!).
Illegal immigration also hurts Americans which include ALL LEGAL immigrants...it drives down wages and jobs All I can say is STOP
listening to the propaganda that they want you to buy into to help advance the global elite agenda.

I have sat here reading this message over and over again and I hope that you could carefully listen to what I have to say as well. I’ve noticed
that there are certain things you did not respond to from my original message and I am baffled as to why. Also there was some twisting of my
words and you attempted to rebuke me for your misinterpretations of what I had said.
Let me lay down a few things for you. I spent 7 years of intense study of the Bible. Everyday I would spend many hours reading, writing,
memorizing text, learning Hebrew and Greek, and dissecting scripture. My life was consumed with one thing to preach and teach fellow
believers in the ways of the Lord. I worked full time in the ministry as an associate pastor, director of the Spanish speaking ministry, a youth
minister, music minister/worship leader, a Bible teacher and Sunday School Coordinator. All this time I was a Brown Beret and worked
primarily with my people who by God’s grace I was allowed to be born into.
When I was young I hated my brown skin. I didn’t want to be dark I wanted to be white. Even at the age of 4 I already had it instilled in me
that to be white is better than to be dark. You cannot imagine the amount of confusion and turmoil something like that would cause in a
young mind. I hated Mexicans and my culture because I was always told by my white neighbors that I was ugly and they would call me a
“nigger”. I was born into a race of people that are despised, rejected, and oppressed and I hated it. I concluded if I was white I would be
better, but no, by God’s grace I was born this way and I no longer can deny that what I once considered a curse was in actuality a blessing.
I hope you can understand that what Brown Berets want is not Racial Superiority but equality, fairness, and justice. We want freedom, self-
determination, and national sovereignty. The thing is that you look at us and our statements through White eyes. You assume because your
people and culture has historically been racist, violent, and power hungry that ours would be the same. Until you have seen the world
through Brown eyes you can never understand us and the suffering we go through. When we say "Brown Power" we mean that we seek
educational, financial, and political empowerment so we will no longer be oppressed. When we say Brown Pride it means simply that we
want to be at a place where we can love ourselves and not be ashamed anymore for being Mexican like myself when I was younger.
Martin Luther King fought for equality for HIS people. Yes he mentioned white people in his speeches but in reference to them having power
and his black brothers and sisters needing to have equality with Whites. It is ignorant to think that Martin Luther King would fight for White
rights as if White people are oppressed. Whites are the oppressors, blacks and other minorities are the victims.
There are no hidden motives behind what we say. We mean what we say and we say what we mean. As Brown Berets we have honor and
integrity and know that is something you are not used to. Not only that but we have a difference in the way that we define things. We live in
different worlds. I take it that you have never lived a day in your life in a Chicano barrio or Black hood. Living by one is not the same as
living in it. Even if you did we can both inhabit the same space but live different experiences. Being a white woman you are naturally
entitled to things that I can never have or I have to fight extremely hard for.
Concerning the New World order and slavery, you are sort of right on that, which surprises me that you would even know as much. The new
world order and corporate elites and politicians are trying to take over the world. Whether you like to accept it or not all Americans are
already slaves of the N.W.O. owned by big banks, corporations, credit agencies, and insurance companies. This government that you fight
for is more corrupt than any other government in the world and has partaken in corrupting ALL world governments. There is no such thing
as America anymore, just the illusion of it. If you wanted to fight for your freedom to take your country back then you should wage a
revolution and take it back from those who are oppressing you and me. The war is not in some distant desert on the other side of the world,
it’s right here in your backyard!
With that frame of thought can you please tell me what is wrong with a people wanting national sovereignty? Didn’t your people use the
Bible, particularly parts of the Old Testament as justification to escape persecution and oppression in Europe and to perpetrate the invasion
of a continent and the extermination my native ancestors? Didn’t your people invoke the name of God in wanting to establish yourselves as
a sovereign nation upon that same continent? Why is it when you and your people do that to my people and lands it is your “sacred duty”
but when we declare that we want what is true and right you reject it as blasphemous and treacherous.?!? Such religious hypocrisy is
sickening.
Yes in the Old Testament the tribe of Israel were declared as God’s chosen people for them to be a light unto the world and bear His laws to
all nations and tongues. But you are wrong because their race DID play an important part of them being the chosen ones. Plainly put, if you
were not the “seed” of Israel you were not chosen. It was Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, a very particular lineage. The laws and promises in the
Old Testament were written for them, it was the covenant that he made with THEM, but it is odd how European Christians in their conquest
of my ancestors used the Old Testament to justify Manifest destiny, (which is, White Europeans were chosen and ordained by God to
conquer and possess all this land). That is to say that America is a fulfillment of God’s promises of blessing in the Bible. What is worse is
that many evangelical Christians today believe the opposite is true, that America is the Great Harlot described in the book of Revelation and
is cursed by God. Is that a contradiction or for the sake of the Republican party do you not align yourself with prominent Christian teaching?
I lament how far White Christians have gone to side with the corrupt American government and would fight tooth and nail to “protect” it. It
is not the will of God for believers to get entangled with the affairs of this world. It is the will of God for all believers to take the side of those
who are oppressed, rejected, and abused. They are to be a light unto the world and for them to support a corrupt American government and
become oppressors and violent against a group of people is contrary to the original mission, which is preaching the good news to all nations.
How do you expect any Chicano/Mexicano to accept you or your religion when it reeks of bigotry and racism? Think about that. And please
stop covering your sins and your bigotry by denouncing everything you don’t agree with as being from the devil or a cult. That only shows
ignorance on your part. The devil doesn’t “make” anybody do anything, you do it to yourself. You should just accept the fact that White is
not always right that maybe a Brown man finally put you in your place and knows maybe just a tad bit more than you about life, love, and
God.

That is mouth-full and those are the same arguments the Minutemen try to use against us. I will humor you though and answer your
questions.
Concerning Humanism: I cannot be all things to all people. I am what I am and I must embrace that and love it. How can I escape such a
burden placed upon me? If loving myself and what defines me as being unique and special makes me a selfish person, then okay, I am
selfish. Am I a criminal now for loving my people, for wanting to do something about the plight of my people? Would you use the same
argument against Martin Luther King or Gandhi, or even Winston Churchill who fought to defend his people from being slaughtered by the
Germans? Yes we feel empathy for all oppressed people around the world but I am not in Africa and China I cannot pull someone out of a pit
if I am still stuck in one myself thousands of miles away. I know what I face everyday here, terrorized everyday by a racist government and
abused by the Pigs and Gestapo Migra. Me and my people face hunger, joblessness, homelessness, abuse, racism, being killed day in and day
out in this “great land” and it is for them that I fight. I fight for my family so that one day we can be free from all this shit and then maybe one
day when they are free they can help others. Your slave trading humanist, John Adams, once said “I must study politics and war that my
sons may have liberty to study mathematics and philosophy. My sons ought to study mathematics and philosophy, geography, natural history,
naval architecture, navigation, commerce, and agriculture, in order to give their children a right to study painting, poetry, music,
architecture, statuary, tapestry, and porcelain”.
Concerning Racism: Do you know the definition of that word? It is an extreme prejudice against a race of people that a person has combined
with power to carry out acts against that race. What POWER do Chicanos have? We are trying to empower ourselves (that is why we say
Chicano Power) but as of yet we have nothing but some measly handouts. It is like trying to accuse the slaves of racism for speaking out
against their white masters. How in the fuck is that possible that you or anybody would attempt to put a charge of Reverse Racism on our
heads as if such a thing even existed? There is ONE dominant group and one oppressed group, and Chicanos are part of the oppressed
group along with all our non-white brothers and sisters. You be smart and figure out which one is the racist group.
Concerning Race Relations: Do forgive me if you are so blind to have not seen pictures of Brown Berets and Black Panthers working
together. Pardon my ignorance to think you would even listen to us when we say we want Brown and Black Unity, that we want to end the
senseless killings. Brown and Black people have been killing each other for no apparent reason other than that they belong to another race
or gang or whatnot. May I suggest, O’ Wise One, that perhaps the killings are orchestrated by the government and Pigs to keep minorities
pitted against each other? It is called divide and conquer. One of your French emperors came up with that one. Keep us fighting against
ourselves so that together we could not pose a united front to fight against the dominant group. Pretty nifty huh?
Concerning Mercy: America has never, NEVER had mercy on anybody. Any acts of so-called “mercy” have always had ulterior motives. It
was a means to an end to fulfill their goals of world domination and subjugation of third world countries, Mexico for example.
Concerning Mexico: The corrupt Mexican government is not my government just as the American government is nothing to me. I am a
Chicano, my nation is Aztlan. Yes the Mexican government has oppressed my indigenous brothers and sisters following the American
government’s example and continuing White Spaniard practice. It is damning what they do for they are killing themselves off. Approximately
95% of Mexicans have indigenous blood in them but sadly many of them are ashamed of it because they have been taught to think that to be
dark and indigenous is ugly and inferior but to be White is Right. It is the same thing that blacks faced when they were slaves. Many of them
were taught that slavery was a blessing and they deserved to be treated like shit. It was not until they learned that Black Is Beautiful that
they began to embrace themselves and succeed in life. I’m very proud of Blacks for their accomplishments, more power to them. I wish more
Chicanos would learn from them.
Concerning Health care: Don’t even start with that! America’s health care system sucks ass. Watch a movie called Sicko by Michael Moore
before you talk shit about another country’s health care system. Like I said America has no mercy, not even on its own population. It’s all
about the Almighty Dollar! Honestly I can go down to Mexico and get better treatment for less money then here in this “great land” as you
call it. Oh, and Cuba does far better than America too by the way.
Concerning Education: An average Mexican kid in the same grade as an average American kid is 3 times smarter. Kids actually learn in
Mexico. They might not be as technologically advanced and privileged as your rich schools here, but at least they learn and they don’t go
killing 20 of their classmates because somebody made fun of them or the teacher didn’t let them use their PSP. The simple fact that you
made all these accusations and speculations shows the depth of American ignorance concerning the world and even your own country.
That is how well your educational system has failed you. Bravo! Your empire is run by fools and the fools will run it to the ground. George W.

IN your response you claim that your group doesn't recognize borders. With that said the Mexican government is perpetuating a
massive genocide against the Indians of chiapis starving them and killing them yet you are silent, also two million Mexicans of African

WOW, I can’t believe you would come back for seconds. I almost feel sorry for doing this. But okay, I guess the first time wasn’t enough.
Concerning Gaspar Yanga: Really, what history books are you reading? Gaspar was a black slave brought over by the Spanish that escaped
in 1609 with a large group of other slaves. He founded a black community in Veracruz and was able to make a peace treaty with the
Spaniards after they couldn’t overcome him. Mexican Independence did not happen until 1821 after over 250 years of Spanish oppression.
Vicente Guerrero on the other hand is a leader of great reputation so much that a state was named after him. He was mixed with Indigenous,
Black, and Spanish. He was a mule driver turned General that helped in securing Mexican Independence and later on became the President
of the New Republic. Blacks and Mexicans always stood together and were considered politically progressive in government structure. Both
were oppressed by the Spaniards who controlled the nation. When Mexicans won their independence they freed all the slaves including
Chinese, Filipinos, and other Pacific Islanders. This charge of genocide and ethnic cleansing is stupid, it’s damn ridiculous.
Concerning Violence, Resentment, and Racism: I’m sorry that you go through such a hard time as a black man. Pobrecito, it is a shame, but
you must understand that you are not the only one. I can’t walk in a black neighborhood without getting jumped or shot at. I’m sorry that a
young black girl was killed by one of my race. She is not the first and sadly not the last. In all truthfulness blacks have killed many young
Chicanos over the years, even younger than her. The fact is that discrimination and violence along racial lines is prevalent in every
community in America and until we ALL grow up and put an end to it this epidemic will continue. It is a vicious cycle that our communities
are locked into. This is a plague that uniquely affects America; it has nothing to do with Mexico and race relations there. Stop confusing and
intermingling the two. You say one thing about this country and then jump to conclusions about another country. Come on man, I implore
you to please make some sense. Playing the race card against me, an oppressed minority in the same boat as you, is pretty retarded. Why
would you think that I or the organization that I represent are racist against blacks? That is why I am a Brown Beret because we want an end
to the racism and violence, not prolong it.
Concerning Prejudice and Interracial Marriage: Stop acting like you are a saint. By you writing this letter stereotyping a whole race of people
as racist degenerate murderers shows your prejudice against Mexicans. Everyone has some type of prejudice (EVERYONE), it stems from
ignorance and upbringing that makes people have preconceived ideas of another race or group’s characteristic... Tell me, are you married
to a Mexican? What if your beautiful black daughter walked in with a Mexican man that looked and dressed like a cholo, with tattoos and
had a very heavy accent and told you she wanted to marry him? I am absolutely positive that your first thought would be: illegal alien,
gangbanger, ex-con, and drug dealer. Stop being a hypocrite and keep your shit real and stop accusing others of prejudice when you know
that you have it too. Oh, and what do you mean by “YOU PEOPLE”?
Concerning Natives and Borders: First off, we stand united with all our indigenous brothers and sisters in every country and state including
the Zapatistas in Chiapas. Now with that said let me tell you why. Chicanos are not just one tribe, we are not all Aztec, we are from every
tribe and nation but we are one. I am Tarahumara, full blooded native. As an indigenous person I can attest that I have never heard of a
tribe called “American” before. Why in the hell do you label us as “Native Americans” as if we respect your fucked up country, your borders,
and whatever name you call yourselves? What if an Italian guy named Antonio Culo got lost over here. Would you call yourselves Culos?
The point is that Europeans have a distinct way of trying to rename everything as if they were gods. They came over here, were lost, were
dying, and my ancestors helped them. Then they turned on us committed mass genocide on us (over 100 million of my ancestors were
murdered), took our continent, and put their fences up as borders. The only thing that makes me different from my Lakota family on the
plains is that I’m on this side of the fucking European imposed border that they used to divide us. Fool, I know my history! I study it everyday
and I live it. Do you know yours? You are not African-..American; by calling yourself a hyphenated term you are admitting that you’re not full
American and a second class human. Your history does not start here, it starts in Africa and your people were brought here as slaves by the
same fucks that you are trying to represent and protect. Really you are a disgrace to your own race, Malcom X and all your black leaders
who died for your freedom and empowerment would have been ashamed of you. Just as I believe in Chicano Power, I believe in Black Power.
Our communities need to be united not fighting each other like dogs for the scraps off the dominant group’s table.
I feel sad that I have to tell you this, after all you claim to be a grown man, but if you are going to align yourself with racist groups to tear
down a fellow oppressed person then you’re a damned fool and you deserve it. You look at us with that scorn as if somehow you are better
than us but you’re not, you’re just their puppet and one day they’ll throw you away. As for me and my people we will continue on for we have
faith that we will prevail and everyone including YOU will benefit from it. During the civil rights movement Blacks were not the only ones
fighting. Many Brown Berets and Chicano activist died to give YOU the privileges that YOU enjoy today as a Black man. We deserve your
thanks not your taunts. So to conclude this long response, please get educated and come back when you have something of substance to
say. If not, don’t waste my time with your silly childish arguments. I’m a high school drop out, ex-gangbanger, ex-con and I have more sense

Comments : I would like to apologize for my letter that I wrote to you. I have done some research and I have found that on some things
I have been wrong. With that said I do believe that some things that I have brought up does have merit. Your organization should fight
for justice for the indigenous peoples of Mexico also on both sides of the border. The oppression of two million Africans of Mexican
descent is wrong and you should not fly the Mexican flag it is a flag of oppression. But I do believe in your cause and your fight for
freedom.
Our Response:
Damn, that totally took me by surprise. But the truth always prevails if one is willing to seek it, “He that has ears, let him hear”. My brother,
you will see that we are not enemies, we are friends and brothers in the same fight. We both seek freedom from oppression and to be able to
live in peace. We want the same things but we sometimes say it in different ways and that is where the misunderstanding and conflict
comes in so write each other off as useless when if we would have only listened intently we could come to an agreement.
We do fight for indigenous peoples on both sides of the border because we recognize our native roots. As Brown Berets we make a point in
studying and teaching our members their culture, and I’m not talking about the Spanish/Mestizo culture because that is a foreign imposed
culture, I’m talking about our native culture that predates the European Invasion. The Brown Berets have historically worked with the
American Indian Movement, we participate in Peace and Dignity walks, and partake in native spiritual ceremonies. Not only that but we have
worked with the Zapatistas in Chiapas and have sent them food and clothing to help them and their families.
When Brown Berets say the word “Raza” we don’t mean “Mexican”, if we wanted to say Mexican then we would just say it. The word Raza
incorporates all native peoples of this hemisphere whether they are light skinned Mestizos, Mulatos, or full blooded native. It doesn’t matter
to us if they are from another country that is not Mexico because they are still oppressed people and they are our people. It’s our people so it’
s our fight. We can’t expect other people to fight for us when they don’t know anything about us or can even empathize with our day to day
struggle. We know what we go through and we know what we need and what is best for us. That doesn’t mean we won’t accept somebody
else’s help. We have had Blacks, Whites, Japanese, Filipino, Islanders and many other races and nationalities join the Brown Berets.
Why the Mexican flag? Because of the symbol that’s placed in the middle. If you study that symbol it is a prophetic and spiritual symbol that
goes back to the roots of our empire in what we call Aztlan. The Eagle represents a people chosen and blessed by God, the native peoples of

I have sat here reading this message over and over again and I hope that you could carefully listen to what I have to say as well. I’ve noticed
that there are certain things you did not respond to from my original message and I am baffled as to why. Also there was some twisting of my
words and you attempted to rebuke me for your misinterpretations of what I had said.
Let me lay down a few things for you. I spent 7 years of intense study of the Bible. Everyday I would spend many hours reading, writing,
memorizing text, learning Hebrew and Greek, and dissecting scripture. My life was consumed with one thing to preach and teach fellow
believers in the ways of the Lord. I worked full time in the ministry as an associate pastor, director of the Spanish speaking ministry, a youth
minister, music minister/worship leader, a Bible teacher and Sunday School Coordinator. All this time I was a Brown Beret and worked
primarily with my people who by God’s grace I was allowed to be born into.
When I was young I hated my brown skin. I didn’t want to be dark I wanted to be white. Even at the age of 4 I already had it instilled in me
that to be white is better than to be dark. You cannot imagine the amount of confusion and turmoil something like that would cause in a
young mind. I hated Mexicans and my culture because I was always told by my white neighbors that I was ugly and they would call me a
“nigger”. I was born into a race of people that are despised, rejected, and oppressed and I hated it. I concluded if I was white I would be
better, but no, by God’s grace I was born this way and I no longer can deny that what I once considered a curse was in actuality a blessing.
I hope you can understand that what Brown Berets want is not Racial Superiority but equality, fairness, and justice. We want freedom, self-
determination, and national sovereignty. The thing is that you look at us and our statements through White eyes. You assume because your
people and culture has historically been racist, violent, and power hungry that ours would be the same. Until you have seen the world
through Brown eyes you can never understand us and the suffering we go through. When we say "Brown Power" we mean that we seek
educational, financial, and political empowerment so we will no longer be oppressed. When we say Brown Pride it means simply that we
want to be at a place where we can love ourselves and not be ashamed anymore for being Mexican like myself when I was younger.
Martin Luther King fought for equality for HIS people. Yes he mentioned white people in his speeches but in reference to them having power
and his black brothers and sisters needing to have equality with Whites. It is ignorant to think that Martin Luther King would fight for White
rights as if White people are oppressed. Whites are the oppressors, blacks and other minorities are the victims.
There are no hidden motives behind what we say. We mean what we say and we say what we mean. As Brown Berets we have honor and
integrity and know that is something you are not used to. Not only that but we have a difference in the way that we define things. We live in
different worlds. I take it that you have never lived a day in your life in a Chicano barrio or Black hood. Living by one is not the same as
living in it. Even if you did we can both inhabit the same space but live different experiences. Being a white woman you are naturally
entitled to things that I can never have or I have to fight extremely hard for.
Concerning the New World order and slavery, you are sort of right on that, which surprises me that you would even know as much. The new
world order and corporate elites and politicians are trying to take over the world. Whether you like to accept it or not all Americans are
already slaves of the N.W.O. owned by big banks, corporations, credit agencies, and insurance companies. This government that you fight
for is more corrupt than any other government in the world and has partaken in corrupting ALL world governments. There is no such thing
as America anymore, just the illusion of it. If you wanted to fight for your freedom to take your country back then you should wage a
revolution and take it back from those who are oppressing you and me. The war is not in some distant desert on the other side of the world,
it’s right here in your backyard!
With that frame of thought can you please tell me what is wrong with a people wanting national sovereignty? Didn’t your people use the
Bible, particularly parts of the Old Testament as justification to escape persecution and oppression in Europe and to perpetrate the invasion
of a continent and the extermination my native ancestors? Didn’t your people invoke the name of God in wanting to establish yourselves as
a sovereign nation upon that same continent? Why is it when you and your people do that to my people and lands it is your “sacred duty”
but when we declare that we want what is true and right you reject it as blasphemous and treacherous.?!? Such religious hypocrisy is
sickening.
Yes in the Old Testament the tribe of Israel were declared as God’s chosen people for them to be a light unto the world and bear His laws to
all nations and tongues. But you are wrong because their race DID play an important part of them being the chosen ones. Plainly put, if you
were not the “seed” of Israel you were not chosen. It was Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, a very particular lineage. The laws and promises in the
Old Testament were written for them, it was the covenant that he made with THEM, but it is odd how European Christians in their conquest
of my ancestors used the Old Testament to justify Manifest destiny, (which is, White Europeans were chosen and ordained by God to
conquer and possess all this land). That is to say that America is a fulfillment of God’s promises of blessing in the Bible. What is worse is
that many evangelical Christians today believe the opposite is true, that America is the Great Harlot described in the book of Revelation and
is cursed by God. Is that a contradiction or for the sake of the Republican party do you not align yourself with prominent Christian teaching?
I lament how far White Christians have gone to side with the corrupt American government and would fight tooth and nail to “protect” it. It
is not the will of God for believers to get entangled with the affairs of this world. It is the will of God for all believers to take the side of those
who are oppressed, rejected, and abused. They are to be a light unto the world and for them to support a corrupt American government and
become oppressors and violent against a group of people is contrary to the original mission, which is preaching the good news to all nations.
How do you expect any Chicano/Mexicano to accept you or your religion when it reeks of bigotry and racism? Think about that. And please
stop covering your sins and your bigotry by denouncing everything you don’t agree with as being from the devil or a cult. That only shows
ignorance on your part. The devil doesn’t “make” anybody do anything, you do it to yourself. You should just accept the fact that White is
not always right that maybe a Brown man finally put you in your place and knows maybe just a tad bit more than you about life, love, and

That is mouth-full and those are the same arguments the Minutemen try to use against us. I will humor you though and answer your
questions.
Concerning Humanism: I cannot be all things to all people. I am what I am and I must embrace that and love it. How can I escape such a
burden placed upon me? If loving myself and what defines me as being unique and special makes me a selfish person, then okay, I am
selfish. Am I a criminal now for loving my people, for wanting to do something about the plight of my people? Would you use the same
argument against Martin Luther King or Gandhi, or even Winston Churchill who fought to defend his people from being slaughtered by the
Germans? Yes we feel empathy for all oppressed people around the world but I am not in Africa and China I cannot pull someone out of a pit
if I am still stuck in one myself thousands of miles away. I know what I face everyday here, terrorized everyday by a racist government and
abused by the Pigs and Gestapo Migra. Me and my people face hunger, joblessness, homelessness, abuse, racism, being killed day in and day
out in this “great land” and it is for them that I fight. I fight for my family so that one day we can be free from all this shit and then maybe one
day when they are free they can help others. Your slave trading humanist, John Adams, once said “I must study politics and war that my
sons may have liberty to study mathematics and philosophy. My sons ought to study mathematics and philosophy, geography, natural history,

Concerning Racism: Do you know the definition of that word? It is an extreme prejudice against a race of people that a person has combined
with power to carry out acts against that race. What POWER do Chicanos have? We are trying to empower ourselves (that is why we say
Chicano Power) but as of yet we have nothing but some measly handouts. It is like trying to accuse the slaves of racism for speaking out
against their white masters. How in the fuck is that possible that you or anybody would attempt to put a charge of Reverse Racism on our
heads as if such a thing even existed? There is ONE dominant group and one oppressed group, and Chicanos are part of the oppressed
group along with all our non-white brothers and sisters. You be smart and figure out which one is the racist group.
Concerning Race Relations: Do forgive me if you are so blind to have not seen pictures of Brown Berets and Black Panthers working
together. Pardon my ignorance to think you would even listen to us when we say we want Brown and Black Unity, that we want to end the
senseless killings. Brown and Black people have been killing each other for no apparent reason other than that they belong to another race
or gang or whatnot. May I suggest, O’ Wise One, that perhaps the killings are orchestrated by the government and Pigs to keep minorities
pitted against each other? It is called divide and conquer. One of your French emperors came up with that one. Keep us fighting against
ourselves so that together we could not pose a united front to fight against the dominant group. Pretty nifty huh?
Concerning Mercy: America has never, NEVER had mercy on anybody. Any acts of so-called “mercy” have always had ulterior motives. It
was a means to an end to fulfill their goals of world domination and subjugation of third world countries, Mexico for example.
Concerning Mexico: The corrupt Mexican government is not my government just as the American government is nothing to me. I am a
Chicano, my nation is Aztlan. Yes the Mexican government has oppressed my indigenous brothers and sisters following the American
government’s example and continuing White Spaniard practice. It is damning what they do for they are killing themselves off. Approximately
95% of Mexicans have indigenous blood in them but sadly many of them are ashamed of it because they have been taught to think that to be
dark and indigenous is ugly and inferior but to be White is Right. It is the same thing that blacks faced when they were slaves. Many of them
were taught that slavery was a blessing and they deserved to be treated like shit. It was not until they learned that Black Is Beautiful that
they began to embrace themselves and succeed in life. I’m very proud of Blacks for their accomplishments, more power to them. I wish more
Chicanos would learn from them.
Concerning Health care: Don’t even start with that! America’s health care system sucks ass. Watch a movie called Sicko by Michael Moore
before you talk shit about another country’s health care system. Like I said America has no mercy, not even on its own population. It’s all
about the Almighty Dollar! Honestly I can go down to Mexico and get better treatment for less money then here in this “great land” as you
call it. Oh, and Cuba does far better than America too by the way.
Concerning Education: An average Mexican kid in the same grade as an average American kid is 3 times smarter. Kids actually learn in
Mexico. They might not be as technologically advanced and privileged as your rich schools here, but at least they learn and they don’t go
killing 20 of their classmates because somebody made fun of them or the teacher didn’t let them use their PSP. The simple fact that you
made all these accusations and speculations shows the depth of American ignorance concerning the world and even your own country.

WOW, I can’t believe you would come back for seconds. I almost feel sorry for doing this. But okay, I guess the first time wasn’t enough.
Concerning Gaspar Yanga: Really, what history books are you reading? Gaspar was a black slave brought over by the Spanish that escaped
in 1609 with a large group of other slaves. He founded a black community in Veracruz and was able to make a peace treaty with the
Spaniards after they couldn’t overcome him. Mexican Independence did not happen until 1821 after over 250 years of Spanish oppression.
Vicente Guerrero on the other hand is a leader of great reputation so much that a state was named after him. He was mixed with Indigenous,
Black, and Spanish. He was a mule driver turned General that helped in securing Mexican Independence and later on became the President
of the New Republic. Blacks and Mexicans always stood together and were considered politically progressive in government structure. Both
were oppressed by the Spaniards who controlled the nation. When Mexicans won their independence they freed all the slaves including
Chinese, Filipinos, and other Pacific Islanders. This charge of genocide and ethnic cleansing is stupid, it’s damn ridiculous.
Concerning Violence, Resentment, and Racism: I’m sorry that you go through such a hard time as a black man. Pobrecito, it is a shame, but
you must understand that you are not the only one. I can’t walk in a black neighborhood without getting jumped or shot at. I’m sorry that a
young black girl was killed by one of my race. She is not the first and sadly not the last. In all truthfulness blacks have killed many young
Chicanos over the years, even younger than her. The fact is that discrimination and violence along racial lines is prevalent in every
community in America and until we ALL grow up and put an end to it this epidemic will continue. It is a vicious cycle that our communities
are locked into. This is a plague that uniquely affects America; it has nothing to do with Mexico and race relations there. Stop confusing and
intermingling the two. You say one thing about this country and then jump to conclusions about another country. Come on man, I implore
you to please make some sense. Playing the race card against me, an oppressed minority in the same boat as you, is pretty retarded. Why
would you think that I or the organization that I represent are racist against blacks? That is why I am a Brown Beret because we want an end
to the racism and violence, not prolong it.
Concerning Prejudice and Interracial Marriage: Stop acting like you are a saint. By you writing this letter stereotyping a whole race of people
as racist degenerate murderers shows your prejudice against Mexicans. Everyone has some type of prejudice (EVERYONE), it stems from
ignorance and upbringing that makes people have preconceived ideas of another race or group’s characteristic... Tell me, are you married
to a Mexican? What if your beautiful black daughter walked in with a Mexican man that looked and dressed like a cholo, with tattoos and
had a very heavy accent and told you she wanted to marry him? I am absolutely positive that your first thought would be: illegal alien,

Concerning Natives and Borders: First off, we stand united with all our indigenous brothers and sisters in every country and state including
the Zapatistas in Chiapas. Now with that said let me tell you why. Chicanos are not just one tribe, we are not all Aztec, we are from every
tribe and nation but we are one. I am Tarahumara, full blooded native. As an indigenous person I can attest that I have never heard of a
tribe called “American” before. Why in the hell do you label us as “Native Americans” as if we respect your fucked up country, your borders,
and whatever name you call yourselves? What if an Italian guy named Antonio Culo got lost over here. Would you call yourselves Culos?
The point is that Europeans have a distinct way of trying to rename everything as if they were gods. They came over here, were lost, were
dying, and my ancestors helped them. Then they turned on us committed mass genocide on us (over 100 million of my ancestors were
murdered), took our continent, and put their fences up as borders. The only thing that makes me different from my Lakota family on the
plains is that I’m on this side of the fucking European imposed border that they used to divide us. Fool, I know my history! I study it everyday
and I live it. Do you know yours? You are not African-..American; by calling yourself a hyphenated term you are admitting that you’re not full
American and a second class human. Your history does not start here, it starts in Africa and your people were brought here as slaves by the
same fucks that you are trying to represent and protect. Really you are a disgrace to your own race, Malcom X and all your black leaders

Comments : I would like to apologize for my letter that I wrote to you. I have done some research and I have found that on some things
I have been wrong. With that said I do believe that some things that I have brought up does have merit. Your organization should fight
for justice for the indigenous peoples of Mexico also on both sides of the border. The oppression of two million Africans of Mexican
descent is wrong and you should not fly the Mexican flag it is a flag of oppression. But I do believe in your cause and your fight for
freedom.
Our Response:
Damn, that totally took me by surprise. But the truth always prevails if one is willing to seek it, “He that has ears, let him hear”. My brother,
you will see that we are not enemies, we are friends and brothers in the same fight. We both seek freedom from oppression and to be able to
live in peace. We want the same things but we sometimes say it in different ways and that is where the misunderstanding and conflict
comes in so write each other off as useless when if we would have only listened intently we could come to an agreement.
We do fight for indigenous peoples on both sides of the border because we recognize our native roots. As Brown Berets we make a point in
studying and teaching our members their culture, and I’m not talking about the Spanish/Mestizo culture because that is a foreign imposed
culture, I’m talking about our native culture that predates the European Invasion. The Brown Berets have historically worked with the
American Indian Movement, we participate in Peace and Dignity walks, and partake in native spiritual ceremonies. Not only that but we have
worked with the Zapatistas in Chiapas and have sent them food and clothing to help them and their families.
When Brown Berets say the word “Raza” we don’t mean “Mexican”, if we wanted to say Mexican then we would just say it. The word Raza
incorporates all native peoples of this hemisphere whether they are light skinned Mestizos, Mulatos, or full blooded native. It doesn’t matter
to us if they are from another country that is not Mexico because they are still oppressed people and they are our people. It’s our people so it’
s our fight. We can’t expect other people to fight for us when they don’t know anything about us or can even empathize with our day to day
struggle. We know what we go through and we know what we need and what is best for us. That doesn’t mean we won’t accept somebody
else’s help. We have had Blacks, Whites, Japanese, Filipino, Islanders and many other races and nationalities join the Brown Berets.
